Organize and support the International Congress of Genetics and other specialized symposia, conferences, and workshops

Aid the dissemination of scientific information, with special concern for access to the primary literature and research databases.

Strengthen

Strengthen the development of genetics in countries where it is not strongly represented.

Preserve

Encourage and support programs for the preservation of genetic stocks and resources.

Promote the teaching of genetics around the world.
